When Fred Korematsu was brave enough to take a stand against injustice as a Japanese American in the 1940s,
it set in motion a chain of events that would end with the Supreme Court ruling in 1983
that the biased internment of innocent Japanese Americans without a trial was indeed unconstitutional.
